We provided the application of specialty material for erosion control to a remote area on short notice. We were able to complete the over 3km of road side erosion control on schedule, on budget and with excellent results. It was a pleasure to work with both Ferex Earthworks Inc and the National Parks Department to accomplish this task. The beautiful backdrop for our time there was just a bonus!

The 2011 fire in Slave Lake AB destroyed a sound barrier of trees that separated Hwy 88 and the town of Slave Lake. We were contracted to spray and revegetate the area on Hwy 88. Once we completed that with success we were also asked to hydroseed the area around the newly rebuilt Town Hall. With care and attention to their newly seeded property they had a lawn established within a few months.

This 10 acre area north of Red Earth Creek, AB on the Otter Lake compression station required a specialty unit to complete the job, as no wheeled vehicles were allowed on the site. Revegetation to natural surroundings was of main concern. We suggested using Biotic Earth soil amendment to enrich the soil and ensure proper vegetation. After the application of Biotic Earth we sprayed seed mixed with mulch and fertilizer over the ten acre site. We were able to provide the specialty equipment needed as well as the proper seed mix for their specifications all in a safe and efficient fashion while, staying on budget. We enjoyed working with Strike Energy and were happy to say we completed the job in the seven day timeline we were given.
